On June 12th, in order to improve the overall quality of company employees, enhance their job awareness, and increase their sense of responsibility, through continuous learning of new knowledge and skills, enabling them to have the ability to accept challenging work and tasks, achieving self-growth and self-value. Guosong Hanger conducted the third course of project-based training — "Adding Heart Equals Adding Salary," taught by Teacher Xiao Zhongxiang from Haiyan County Easy Training Center.

With the economic recovery, calls for salary increases arise one after another. More money, of course, everyone applauds, but when it requires putting more heart into work, the common mindset often involves blaming others and jealousy, feeling wronged oneself, thinking that despite doing a lot, one receives less than others, thus living in distress. If you are willing to look from another perspective, first examine why you are not getting the expected compensation? How much have you actually done at work, and what have you done less?

If employees can do and are willing to do, the boss should be willing to give generously. It is no longer the era of being harsh on employees; it is a natural principle that effort should be rewarded. But what is the effort? Each industry, company, and job nature is very different and cannot be generalized, but the simplest principle is to truly put your heart into it. For employees who do not work with heart, don’t expect the boss to give them good treatment; this is a universal truth. How much can ordinary people do? First add heart, then add salary; this is the win-win rule.

To first work with heart, we need to be capable, and capability depends on learning and practice, continuously learning and practicing, learning by doing and doing by learning, gradually becoming capable. We must have perseverance in work; with perseverance, we can persist, persist, and persist again, and thus walk out of the quagmire of life, relentlessly moving forward. Even more, we must have faith; faith is a powerful spiritual force. With firm faith, one can be mentally uplifted, overcome difficulties, and even when life is threatened, not easily give up inner faith.

This training benefited our employees greatly through Teacher Xiao’s vivid and interesting lectures. We also thank the company for providing us with such a learning opportunity, which offers better guidance in our future work.
